Satchel’s interest in architecture started early, somewhere between countless hours of LEGO building and drawing. That curiosity grew into a passion for design, leading him to Mississippi State University’s School of Architecture and, about a year before graduating, to LIVE Design Group. Today, Satchel is a licensed architect who continues to thrive in the creative process.

He is constantly observing, imagining, and sketching ideas—often on whatever scrap of paper happens to be nearby. Satchel loves exploring how thoughtful design can shape the way people experience a space and enjoys turning ideas into places that are both meaningful and memorable.

Outside the studio, Satchel is deeply involved in his church and loves traveling internationally, experiencing new places, cultures, and architecture along the way. He’s also a devoted uncle, an enthusiastic candy connoisseur, and someone who rarely goes very long without finding something to draw on.
