A Facility Study is an evaluation of an existing building or potential site to plan for future growth. It determines the feasibility to provide for a client’s specific needs.

In many cases, multiple locations are evaluated to assist the owner in determining which property to purchase.

Early in the design process, before any floor plans are drawn or exterior forms are thought about, a building owner needs to establish the Program for their project. Typically, when talking about Program, we are referring to a list of rooms, number of spaces, their physical needs, and their proximity to each other.
